The next show is scheduled for your vintage styling convenience on April 29th &amp; 30th. Instead of looking to the past, look to the future and mark your calendars now!<\/p>\n<p>I caught up with some old vintage friends &#8212; including <a href=\"http:\/\/artifaktori.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Artifaktori<\/a>, my favorite vintage store in good &#8216;ole beantown [aka Boston!] Massachusetts, and the every-girls&#8217;-feminine-fantasy vintage store <a href=\"http:\/\/www.1ofafindvintage.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 of a Find<\/a> from Park Slope, Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>In between schmoozing, oohing and aahing, I captured a few style photos, tried on some tight leather &amp; puffy sleeves, and was even interviewed by <a href=\"http:\/\/newyork.cbslocal.com\/2011\/02\/04\/manhattan-vintage-fashion-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS Channel 2 (New York) for this news segment on the show<\/a> &#8211;I appear in the segment about a minute in. [wish she&#8217;d gone vintage!] I appreciate the piece because as a new bit of fashion, it&#8217;s truly one-of-a-kind and I hope to keep and love it for years. She is a seller on the vintage online marketplace <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketpublique.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Market Publique<\/a>, and was selling in the Market Publique booth, led by the site&#8217;s amazing founder, Pamela Castillo.<\/p>\n<p>I love Amy for her down-to-earth vibe and business smarts. She&#8217;s been selling vintage in Boston for years, and recently opened a second shop in the trendy shopping district of Charles Street\u00a0 in addition to her Somerville location. Lorna [pictured to the left of Honey, lower left picture] worked for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.1ofafindvintage.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1 of a Find<\/a> at the market. We would try on fabulous things from one another&#8217;s collections and inspire the many tourists who wandered in to try on our pieces. I haven&#8217;t seen Lorna in almost two years. Should I get something fun? Something for the winter? Something for the spring\/summer? What era? What cut? What style?<\/p>\n<p>There are always style questions to be asked &#8212; and a style emotion to be felt. My style emotions were feeling pretty good in the lovely &#8217;60s shift dress that honestly resembles a piece of art.
