Here are the steps.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The next time you&#8217;re out <a href=\"https:\/\/sammydvintage.com\/how-to-thrift-store-shop\/\">thrift shopping<\/a>, take a look at old box springs. Within the box spring, you will see cylindrical springs that might be up to a few inches in diameter. Purchase the box spring, and take it home. Next, use a pair of pliers to cut out individual springs. It&#8217;s a good idea to wear a pair of work gloves for this step!<\/p>\n<p>Fit a planter inside, and <em>voila<\/em>! You have a pretty way to add height and variety to your potted garden. You could even paint the pot and the spring in matching colors.
